The Balancing Shampoo is a creamy, concentrated blend of nutrients. It needs to be activated by mixing water in your hands to create a silky lather before applying it to the scalp. The more you can work up a lather, the better it will cleanse.
How often should I use the Balancing Shampoo??
Whatever feels right for you. Contrary to popular belief, it’s healthier to cleanse your scalp more often than not, but only if using gentle products that won't strip essential moisture, color, or chemical processing. Cleansing every 1-2 days is ideal for most hair types; however, our Balancing Shampoo was designed to suit any lifestyle and routine, so you can safely cleanse as often as you want or need.

my wallet was not the only part of me that didn’t farewell in those strikes. My hair dried out using head and shoulders, so I returned to A+A Hair cleanse. I have a lot of hair, so it takes a lot of doing to work the viscous cleanse thru. But on the second wash—as recommended—my scalp feels refreshed. I had really high hopes for this brand but it just didn't work with my hair type. Left my hair still feeling greasy & heavy while not being moisturized for a Colorado climate. But the products do smell amazing.

It has been only 2 weeks so far, however, I am impressed. Until now my go to shampoo has been head and shoulders and I have not been able to switch to anything else because of my scalp being so sensitive to all sorts of things. I am also experiencing some hair loss and have been wanting to find something that would slow that down. Since Ive been using Act & Acre for the last 2 weeks my scalp has been very balanced. No itch, no dandruff, and my hair fall has slowed down a little bit.
